Objective

Students will construct and illustrate a song, poem, movie, or fairytale that reflects their personalities and ideas about the world. Make sure your choice is appropriate for school.

 

Materials

• Paper & Pencil  •Clay 

 

Procedure

1. Introduction: the concept of low relief. Many examples of what they look like are available on the Internet.

2. Compose your own or follow categories in which to organize your slab of clay and designs.

4. There should always be a unifying element whether it’s a pattern or subject matter.

5. Promote global thinking wherever possible!  Make people think and don’t do the clichéJ Come up with your own ideas instead of copying.

 

Brainstorming

6. Sketch out your ideas and brainstorm ideas for each in writing.

7. On a sheet of paper, draw the basic outline for your relief. This should be your final version to scale-this means the exact size you are going to create it.
